Hi, my name is Lacey. I'm sort of the mastermind behind this production. That's me up there, by the way. Sometimes my blog posting can be sporadic and other times you can expect a post daily. I write for myself and to remember. I started out blogging as a way to document my pregnancy back in November of 2010 but I had a miscarriage. Blogging probably helped me keep my sanity, it has become a safe place to write out what I am feeling and thinking. It's actually pretty cathartic at times! My family and friends know I blog but aren't regular readers. I like it that way. It keeps me honest, where I don't feel like I need to censor anything for fear of hurting feelings (even though I try not to go on a name-bashing spree) and I love new readers!
I'm on the shorter side of 5'3".
I have a loving relationship with Jesus that is growing every day.
I am an avid reader.
I'm married to an amazing man who loves me and irks me all in the same breath!
Loving him is easy but killing him is on my mind most days :)
I LOVE to dance. And sing. A lot.
I'm a stay at home mom that is rarely home.
May be slightly addicted to coffee.
I'm married to S.
He's a man of few words but my momma says that's probably because I do enough talking for the both of us!
He also dislikes hates his picture being taken, that's why you won't see too much of him around here
He's been out of the country more than me (which isn't saying anything since I've never left the continental United States :)
He's an amazing father and provider for our family.
He's not too handy around the house but that's okay...
We got married on a HOT day in March 2011.
We were engaged for only 6.5 months.
I knew he was "The One" for me only a few weeks in...
We never got to honeymoon because I fell pregnant not too long after getting married.
We complain all the time about small town, Texas where we live but every time we go to the city & come back, we remember all the reasons we love where we live.
We really don't fight and when we do, we settle things then and there instead of drawing it out.
Both of us are stubborn and hard-headed to a fault but it makes things interesting around here.
Our little family saves me from myself, daily.
This is Vera.
Our first born.
Our daughter.
My little love.
I call her Bears often, usually accompanied by an adjective (ie, goofy bears, angry bears, silly bears, stinky bears)
She was due on January 5th, 2012
She was born at 38 Weeks + 1 Day on December 23rd, 2011
at 7:36 pm weighing in at 7 lbs and 11 oz.
19 inches long.
Labor & Delivery lasted 18 hours from the time I recognized labor.
You can read her birth story here.

She's a generally happy, smiley, and content baby that we love to pieces.
She is my gift from God.
